My 2007 still throws P0021/22 codes for VVT issues even though I have changed the front one twice and the rear one once. I just ignore it as there seems to be not noticeable effect.

On the 2007 model they ding while either On or Auto. 2008 and one they removed the ding while on auto. Sounds like some sort of setting.

I walked into the dealership here in San diego no questions asked by the service manager. They replaced the lower control arm, aligned the front, and even washed the car for me. I made sure to check steering wheel alignment and all is good.

Precisely, I broke it and repaired it. It worked for two years after that before it crapped out on me. I replaced it in 2012 I believe, and it has been working fine since.

I replaced the rear receiver two years ago and have not had a problem since. I think my problem started with the receiver when I grounded the back of my 9 in a ditch and snapped it off. I epoxyied it back and it worked fine for two years until the key symbol came on.

Yes I did. Not sure if that was necessary, but I did it just in case.

Next step is to try swaping out the door antennas, but the rear antenna is usually the one to go bad. Mine did on my 07
