anyone know any other possibilities that it might be? i dont want to spend 10 hours taking out the tranny and putting it back with a new throwout bearing just for the problem to still be there....

From reading on howstuffworks.com they say a commonproblem is this: "Another problem sometimes associated with clutches is a worn throwout bearing. This problem is often characterized by a rumbling noise whenever the clutch engages." this sorta sounds like my problem...how do i go about...

ok well i have a 1988 mazda mx-6 and all of a sudden today a probelm occured. when u start the car,everythings fine ,but as soon as u let go of the clutch theres a really load grinding noise. and also same thing when driving in gear. my dad said that its the cltuch ball bearing that broke...

ok well me and a couple of my friends threw down for a beater,and its a 1988 mazda mx-6. Well the main problem is that there are hiuuge fuel cuts. Of u floor it in gear after 4.5 K there is what seems to be a fuel cut. car doesn turn off or anything but its jsut as if u suddenly dtopped pressing...
