Did you heat them up with a hair dryer or you just soaked them in bug/tar remover and then dragged the line behind them?

What's the best method for shaving the emblems off? I've heard a hair dryer followed by fishing line and then just clean up the glue... What do y'all think? Also, what would you use to put them back on?

Did you do the whole process of scratching it up, spraying it on, wet sanding it and then buffing it out? Or did you just take them off, tape it up and spray it on and call it good?
