I took my '07 Speed6 GT in for some flushes and to have them check out an issue I was having with my HomeLink Mirror and Moon Roof operation being intermittent.
They said they couldn't troubleshoot the power problem in the moon roof because there was corrosion going from the positive battery...
I left the moonroof of my 2007 Speed6 GT tilted open last night in my garage. This morning I got in and started driving to work and went to close it, so I hit the tilt close button. Unfortunately, the moonroof started sliding open. I’ve had minor issues like this in the past (2-3 years ago)...
When I read the first post I was wondering why a BMW dealership has MS6's on the lot. Lol
I definitely wouldn't suggest buying a MS6 until you were comfortable shifting... Not even sure you should test drive an STI if you're still getting comfortable with it they aren't forgiving (at least the...
Is this list current? I see it's been a while since it was last updated; now I'm finally planning on putting some upgrades on my car I'd hate to base part of my decisions based upon an out of date list.
Thanks.
No, the fin won't make any difference to your GPS (at least it doesn't on my '07).
There are two gyro's in the Speed6's, one for speed and one for direction. This is so that even if your car can't get a true GPS signal it is still able to properly position itself on your navigation screen.

I have a 2007 Speed6 GT (in case that's relevant).
I went out to my car in 115 degree weather and my battery was dead, not cool.
A buddy gave me a jump and I went and got a new battery.. Installed the battery and now my Windows don't work from the drivers side controls.
The Drivers window...
What's the best method for shaving the emblems off?
I've heard a hair dryer followed by fishing line and then just clean up the glue...
What do y'all think?
Also, what would you use to put them back on?
Did you do the whole process of scratching it up, spraying it on, wet sanding it and then buffing it out?
Or did you just take them off, tape it up and spray it on and call it good?
Thanks for the tips. The CPe engine mount is the one I was looking at when I first ordered the car, too... I'll have to check out Visual Garage's website, too, thanks for that tip.
