I had the same problem with my razr maxx until it was upgraded to Android Kitkat 4.4.2. If you have a lower release of android it may not work

He also said my verizon Samsung Galaxy s4 with kitkat 4.4.2 is not compatible with the text messaging feature and Mazda needs to update their website, I hate being teased I have a message only to be told the download failed after a few minutes. I find this strange since my razor never worked...

I have a 2014 with 16,000 miles and have not had any issues at all with any of these problems

Mine is full of cycling gear helmet, shoes bike tools, chain cleaner and lube and of coarse my road bike

the trip computer is not visible or responsive to the "info" button if you mean the trip odometer it is controlled by a knob near the top

3 friends had the Ford Escape's (company cars) they all said the same thing when I asked how they liked the car. They all said it was a piece of crap spent more time in getting service then any other cars they had, so I stayed with Mazda and got a cx-5 had it for 15 months now and I still love it

I have not had any problems with my 14 gt except the usb issue, which is not major to me. The car is fun to drive and if the only reason you didn't buy one is mirror shake or hood shake that can be fixed its your loss.

Had the same problem about a year ago, did a reset on the IPOD and it worked fine after that.

I've had mine for 14 month's and still find myself looking for the clock

To me this is a minor issue, the only time I use the usb or ipod is on a long trip

I would go with a cargo cover and the cargo mat. The mat covers the floor plus the back of the seats

Good luck I sure you will love it, I've had my 2014 GT AWD for over a year now and still love it. I have added the bumper guard, mud flaps, weather tech floor mats, cargo cover and the cargo mat to mine.

I had this same type of problem last year and as ErgoZoom said I had to do a hard restart to the Ipod and then it worked fine

Actual like mine with the dealer name on it, since I don't like my closest mazda dealer I don't mind advertising the one where I was treated right and who gave me a great deal.
