There is no way I'm going with the TRZ based on peoples reviews of it. Yes it is a great performer, but I know the vibes will be too much for me. I am not racing, auto-x, or anything like that. I want something a little stiffer that won't sacrifice too much comfort.

Has anyone tried this motor mount out? I was trying to get the 62A, but they are back ordered. Andrew from SU suggested this mount saying that it is basically identical and that it is in stock. I'm trying to limit cabin vibration hence my choice to go with the softer 62A version. Anyone have...

So just had the SRI installed. My buddy bent the mounting bracket a touch to get it to fit better. The whole thing seems pretty snug, i'm not worried about the weld failing. I'm loving the swooshing/sucking sound that this intake makes. Overall, the engine just feels better and pulls harder...

Damn, those are some stiff mounts. I just bought the SU 62 durometer. I want my car to remain fairly civilized.

Maybe the stiffer motor mount will keep the engine from moving too much, thus reducing the stress on the weld that breaks?? Maybe just some wishful thinking... I'm going to shoot an e-mail to COBB about the whole issue it and see what they say.

I'm pretty sure there has been more than one reported case. I've seen the issue brought up on several threads and even different forums.

On some site I saw that you have a choice of Delrin or polyurethane for the bushing material on the TRZ. Obviously the delrin is going to be stiffer. Anyone have hardness (durometer) info for these two materials ?

I would also like to know this! You would think that COBB would modify the design if this such a prevalent issue...I'm worried now!
