    bose speakers

Supradupe- There's something amiss. It sounds to me as if some of your speakers are out of phase. If they are, it would mean that they were mis-wired at the factory and will be covered under warranty. Assuming of course, that you've gone through the whole "on-screen graphic equalizer" and...

How can I change my Mazda CX-9 Cabin Air Filter?

I bought my cabin filter at the dealer. The cabin filter is located behind the glove box. Open the glove box - the back of the glove box is a removable panel; there are two latches on the top edge of the back of the glove box; pull them toward you and the panel comes with. the air box where the...

    CX-9 Tailgate Lift

I think the sensors are those two black square-ish gizzies about halfway down the gate and the jamb. Clean them out (they seem to collect junk) and clean the pegs on the gate. Couldn't hurt. Seems to me if the gate is only coming down two inches that something else is the problem, though -...

How to change front brake pads

Bleed 'em, too Nice write up and pics, Jedi - thanks. FWIW (2cents)When I do my pad replacement, I find it a good practice to bleed off each corner I'm replacing. The brake fluid that does all the work at the pistons is usually dirty and probably has absorbed some moisture. I only bleed off a...

    CX9 Tyre pressures

Thanks for the excellent feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to tell us of your testing and experience. I usually carry a load of literature and samples in the "way" back (third row is flat) so I'll kick my rears down to 38 and my fronts to 36 and see how it feels. Again, thanks!

    Daytime Running Lights

Sometimes I forget-so what could be easier than starting the car and driving? :) Cheaper? Don't think so with all lights on? Plus it gets me out of the house, in the garage and under the hood - all good things for me.

    Daytime Running Lights

That would make me dysnumeric.....<g> (braindead) Went to the Hamsar site - pretty impressive company -site sucks - (bang) The Daniel Stern uses the turn signal lamps for DRL while Hamsar uses headlights. The only Hamsar that would work for my HID headlight set-up would be the 45060 that cuts...

How Long Have Your Brake Pads Lasted?

I've got 35+K mi. and still on the OE brakes. Mostly highway mileage. Haven't really checked to see how much pad I've got left front or rear. What's been your experience so far? Thanks! 2008 CX-9 GT Copper Red

Nokya Hyper Yellow Stage 1 wattage

Fog Lights Here's a good site for questions about car lighting. This guy seems to know his stuff. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/home.html He discusses using over wattage bulbs, HID conversion kits, DRL's - all kinds of fascinating info - in a very pragmatic style. He's a no BS source...

    CX9 Tyre pressures

Psi I run 42 PSI (cold) on my 20" Duellers. Seems right. A little rough over sharp bumps, but hey, they're low profile 20 inchers. Wasn't looking for a posh ride nor for auto cross performance - somewhere in betweeen seems reasonable. Life is too short for high mileage tires. (hahaspit)
