Actually the actuator is located in the driver side foot well and is accessible by removing the kick panel. The passenger side actuator requires removing the glove box but is located in a similar location. When I turn the temperature knob I can watch the arm on the actuator move but I can't...
I have the manual climate control system in my car. Currently I have the heat on full and have the dial for the vents set just to have air come out of the upper vents and there is about a 20 degree difference between the driver and passenger side vents. Looking online there are both left and...
I have a 2013 CX-5 touring with the manual climate control and I have noticed now that it is winter I get no hot air from the driver side ac vent on the dash. I do get air from the vent but it just seems room temperature. The other dash vents are working correctly. I have not taken it into...
Yep, everything is working aside from the steering wheel controls. For that I need to reset the pac rp4-mz11 unit back to the default so if anyone know how to do that please let me know. I tried what was listed in the directions that came with it but that didn't work.
I took everything apart today and connected the blue/white wire from the ax-mazcam-6v to the rad wire on the pioneer harness and now the backup camera is working correctly.
Hi everybody. I Installed a Pioneer AVH-2300 NEX today and the only function that is not working is the rear view camera. I used the PAC MZ4-11 wiring harness and the AX-MAZCAM-6V for the backup camera. I'm wondering if maybe I wired something incorrectly
Black wire from AX-MAZCAM-6V...
I was looking for an alternative to the metra dash kits for the 2013-2016 cx-5 and came across this one on AliExpress which looks like it is designed as a direct replacement for the factory radio trim bezel.
The part number is BN-25K8443 and it looks like it should fit better at least with the...
Thanks I got the metra adapter that comes with the 12v to 6v convertor. I also picked up the steering wheel and antenna adapter. Everything is wired up aside from splicing into the reverse signal wire on the oem harness(assuming one exists, which I would think it does)
I'm in the process of installing a pioneer AVH-2300nex in place of the factory headunit in my 2013 cx-5 touring. I'm using the metra mazcam-6v adapter to make it so that I can keep the factory rear view camera. My only issue is determining which wire on the factory harness that goes to the...
I did check with them. The only items that they did not have an answer to were using the maestro sw vs the axxess aswc-1 and if the usb adapter AX-MAZUSB would work with Android Auto.
Hi everyone. I recently ordered a Pioneer AVH-2300NEX to replace the factory head unit in my 2013 CX-5, mainly to get the addition of Android Auto. I'm trying to decide on which steering wheel adapter to use. I was leaning towards the Maestro SW model but also considering the Axxess ASWC-1...
Ok so my parts came in the mail today. The dashboard trim piece does fit with some slight modification (removal of two of the trim clips below the AC vents as they do not line up with the existing holes). The radio surround does not fit due to the newer bezel coming into contact with the...
I'm not replacing the ac vent trim just the trim piece that runs across the center over the dash below the radio. I don't think glare would be an issue with that piece, but I do see how it would be a problem with the vents on the top of the dash.
The prices at my local dealer as well as some online dealers was a little over 200 for the dashboard trim and 60 for the radio bezel. I got both for 130 total. Granted they are from a wrecked car but are in like new condition. I was tired of the gloss black trim and didn't like any of the...
I managed to find a junk yard that would sell me the radio bezel and the dash board trim piece from a totaled 2016 cx-5 to replace the gloss plastic piece on my 2013. Should arrive in the mail next Tuesday and I'll post back if everything fits.
