Thanks I got the metra adapter that comes with the 12v to 6v convertor. I also picked up the steering wheel and antenna adapter. Everything is wired up aside from splicing into the reverse signal wire on the oem harness(assuming one exists, which I would think it does)

I'm not replacing the ac vent trim just the trim piece that runs across the center over the dash below the radio. I don't think glare would be an issue with that piece, but I do see how it would be a problem with the vents on the top of the dash.
