When batteries start to go bad, the alternator has to work extra. The extra workload is often enough to cause the alternator to fail. I typically see that for people within two week after replacing their battery. At a minimum, get the charging system tested before you end up stranded again.

Flat black on the fabric. Mother's Back-to-Black was used on the vinyl.

My door panels were showing a lot of sun bleaching, so I sprayed the fabric with some Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric Coating.

I had this problem a few years ago. I tried cleaning the EGR valve and didn't get any improvement. I then cleaned out the IAC. There was some improvement, but the issue was still present. I cleaned the throttle body and put in a new EGR (Canadian version) and IAC. She ran great after that.

I'll have to do some digging, but I have a red set somewhere in my garage. They were used for about 2 years, around 5k miles before I removed them to try the 1.8L coil conversion. I'll send you pics once I dig them out.
