Mazda 5 GT auto, worst tank yet........18.3 US mpg, or 12.82L/100km. Was cold(+-)-20degC out for the past week, as well as 130km/h on the highway, and using manumatic alot. Never THAT low before.

I did the same thing. Pulled off the Mazda emblem and was very disappointed in finding the holes. Didn't try the 5 either. 1 emblem to replace is enough.

Your not the only one ! I've been getting it for the last month and a half. All four corners yet. Every speed bump, or dip in the road as well. Sound is more noticable on extension of the suspension and less so on compression. Getting worse with time, and colder weather.

Got our 5 back today. All done and cleaned. Very happy! Lots of brake grinding at first from the rusty discs, and the brake pedal seems softer than I remember.... I 'm just glad to have it home.

update: Wife is eyeing the '06 Civic 4 dr. She really likes it! And it saves $200 a month in payment, so that's really selling her! I like it.... good safety features, o.k looks inside, etc. But not sold on it. Especially the front end look. I think i'm holding out till mid November...
