So this is confirmed then, that there is no existing wiring to the doors for heated mirrors? I was reading some threads for the previous-generation CX-5 and other models and they seemed to have the wiring into the door, but were missing the extra wires in the mirror harness.

I hate to revive an old thread, but davecrash were you able to make your mirror retrofit work? I have a 2017 CX-5 Touring and in SW PA, heated mirrors are a must. My mirrors don't defrost at all in the 45 minutes it takes me to drive to work, and it's getting really annoying.

Those look much better as far as the sequential signals and timing. Got a link? Also, will these work with the touring trim without fogs? I could drill a small hole for wires.

I actually got them on Walmart.com. I hate Walmart, but I used eBates and they were also only $150. They've since dropped to around $120 I believe, I'm about to submit a price protection claim with Discover lol. But they are very similar to the Mazda OEM mats that are pointed out in the post...

I'll be honest, I think the 2017+ Infotainment system is the best of any car I've owned. Maybe that says something about the cars I've owned... Coming from a Veloster, it's a big step up. I can't really imagine what others are driving prior to the CX-5 that they're complaining that much about...

Those look awesome, perfect for a touring model without stock fogs too. But they do look like they blink too slow, like they're not in sync with the regular signals.

Right? And it's not like the model info would've done much anyhow, it could've been a used 2017 as well. But whatever, we all have our days when we forget our morning coffee on the counter at home so I'm not worried about it. Thanks though, I'm hoping so. First brand new car I've ever bought...

Thanks guys, this pretty much answers my question. I was hoping there would already be a harness/plug in that black box, but oh well. So I guess I'm just going to end up running the camera power straight to the fuse box after all. Thanks again!
