thanks! i thought i read somewhere that the probe transmission gearing was more robust? or different ratio as well? or am i just dreaming? LSD is no biggie, i'm just looking for one to build with an MFactory and new synchros.

Ive seen a couple members are running a ford probe trans from a 4 cylinder in their mazdaspeed proteges. Was wondering if there is a specific year range that fits? Probably the 2nd gen probe only, but wanting to double check. Any years better or stronger than others? Gearing? Thanks.

I bought a beams swap from jdm engine corp for one of my celicas last year. Was as promised and no issues. I'll probably buy an engine for my p5 when it goes from them as well.

Just picked up a 2003 mp5 that smokes like a train. Po told me it was rings. I'm finding it is cheaper to just drop a jdm engine into it versus doing a rebuild. So, is the jdm fsde a plug and play swap? Not finding much info using Google or search that tells me yes or no. Thanks. Also...
