    Yes, this is correct. This is why I always just drain and fill, especially with pre-diluted coolant. I just drain and fill more frequently than I would otherwise.

    For me the Mazda coolant is cheap insurance. Have you seen what is involved with changing the water pump? Why take a risk with different coolant?

    But if you are doing drain and fill only, the proper amount is about 3.3 quarts. Is your 2011 a transmission that has no dipstick? If so, search the forums for the proper way to check the level.
