Thanks Has anyone had experience refinishing these wheels? I'm guessing they would need to be stripped and repainted?

I just purchased a 2008 GT and noticed that the black streaks on the wheels were not comming off - even with rubbing compound. Is this the clearcoat issue - or is this due to something else? Drivers side wheels are not as bad as passenger's. Very weird. How do you get rid of it...?
