Anyone riding on Tein Street Basis or Street Advance dampers?

The set cost me USD$975 (estimating based on exchange rates) installed. I've been told that EC's are a sister company to BC. These are monotubes (short stroke) and overall I feel they're much better at road holding that the Tein's.

Anyone riding on Tein Street Basis or Street Advance dampers?

So unfortunately the Teins have started to fail on me, and I've now replaced them to Extend Concept with the ability to set ride height without affecting rebound rates. The Teins were too low under full passenger loads with the speedbumps I have here, kept scraping the bottom.. With the...

What have you done to your Mazda5 today?

Haven't had the chance to record one my own given the holidays. However, I did post a thread on it previously about the exhaust. http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123848908-Fujitsubo-muffler-for-the-2-0-CW-Mazda-5&highlight=fujitsubo There's a recorded video on it with sound and...

Mazda5 Wheel Fitment & Photo Guide

Yes. My originals were 16inch. What's the offset of the TE37SL? 215s on et45 on a lowered stance causes minor rubbing on dips. Sent from my E6883 using Tapatalk

Set to softer settings, the car is "springy" under very hard dips. Though it helps on badly paved roads to cushion the minor imperfections on some roads. Roads where I'm at isn't all that good. It's fitted correctly, the top grooved piece has a wider fitting that slots in the top area.

215/50 has a nicer stance, with the wider tire. I suppose if I had fitted an ET48 rim, it would fit nicely. Too bad the RPF1's came only in ET45 for the 17x7. Really wanted the RPF1's tho as it hardly affected the unsprung weight after plus sizing. Weight of the original rim and tire. Weight...

Enkei RPF1 et45 17x7 205/50R17 I'm using Tein Street Advance dampers. 215/50 causes minor rubbing at rears since then I've reverted to 205/50. No rubbing even under heavy loads and big dips. Happy with the offset and how it's sitting flush.
