Protege5 Help

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I currently just had bought a fs engine from a jdm store near me. I went to install in the car and I had already changed the harmonic balancer and it fired right up. I have no codes but for some reason it wants to keep reving from 1k to 2500k rpm. There is no vac leaks. The intakes are a tad different. The old one had 2 sets of butterfly's flaps and the new one only has 1 set. If anyone knows what the problem could be lmk?

All I can think of is that the car isn't fully warmed up or it thinks it's not.
I believe that the info the ECU uses all comes from the ECT sensor (maybe the IAT as well?).

I remember one guy that had a dirty ECT sensor and his car wouldn't restart when hot. He cleaned it and that fixed it.

Check the wiring and condition of your Engine Coolant Temperature sensor.

Your car may be just relearning how to idle the engine.

It takes about 100 miles of driving for the ECU to get the IAC to idle the car after the battery is disconnected.

I'll go and clean that sensor thx you!

My car idles like crap after the battery is disconnected.
The RPMs drop so low it almost stalls then shoots up to 2,500.

The bouncing around settles down after about 100 miles.
