Very nice, I remember how happy I was. Night and day difference over the sedan bumper.

Thanks man it really was a big difference after the exterior conversion. Makes our rides a bit more unique since not alot of people attempt to do a conversion on a sand mica protege. Your car looks great man. Im looking for some p5 fog lights to do the drl mod. no luck at all :(

Active members... yes indeed.

I started preparing for the swap first, but I believe Pope beat me by like 2 months getting it in. Thanks to winter. Also, I think a few members here were on other boards doing the swap. Which is where I got the idea. I was upset and frustrated with the misinformation and lack of documentation for the swap. And my original thread had everything to do it. Evan covered the later wiring harness and ecu where I covered 93-94 mx6/626 harness and ecu stuff. My new thread is a slow work in progress to try and recover what was lost in the great forum delete of 2012. Some information I didn't have written down so I will need to sit down one day and think it all through again. Which might be hard after 2 1/4 years. Also, I just hit 52k miles on the swap the other day w000!!! KL.

Not clean at all, I have no clue what the old lady who owned the car before me did to this thing. My trunk and majority of the body is scratched to s***. I have minor surface rust under my wheel wells I'll be fixing next week. I'm located in London, Ontario :) Sorry for the late reply.

Well then good job hiding it for the photo :u)

Simply beautiful...

Oh herro there. That's my motor in my garage going into my P5. They bolt right up using factory mounts. There are a couple Protege's with KL's (search Mazda KLZE or KLDE) or check my 2002 P5 build link in my sig. Or PM me with any questions. :)

Cleverfrog, you could've at least posted the prettier pic. haha

^^^ Thank you very much, I appreciate that. :)

My current P5 is getting swapped with another KL next week and will turn out 3x cleaner.

As she sits today, I'm pretty pleased with how she's come from stock to now.

Shes not too clean today... but I got around to swapping my wheels back. I love them RX7 wheels, but they're bald. They will now be race only.

Someone asked about a KL protege 1/4 mile, well my best so far is 15.1 @92mph. Confident I can get it down to a 15.0, but the stars may have to align first.
I has straight through exhaust, ghetto air intake, LSD, AWR motor mounts, and 140 tread wear street tires.
