I bought a Mazda 3 Neo Auto (Australia) a couple of months ago, and have been trying to get my dealer to fix an annoying transmission noise. Unfortunately they tried 3 other cars, which also made the same noise so came to the conclusion it was the same for all of them and couldn't help. Basically, this is what happens:
Driving (won't work in neutral) at approx 3,500rpm (especially up hill, or locked in gear down hill) there is a 'wum...wum...wum...wum...etc.' sound from under the bonnet. Any ideas?
