ACT CLUTCH

ACT makes a clutch kit for the 2001 Protege. I ordered a clutch form Tripoint and ACT is what I got. <A HREF=http://www.advancedclutch.com/v3/appsframe.asp?Make=Mazda&Model=Protg TARGET=NEW>Here is the link</A> I got the Z66-HDSS from Tripoint. If I had known it was ACT, I woulda got the Z66-HDR4, which is the next step up. There are 3 stages, HDSS is first, then HDR4, then HDR6. Both the R4 and R6 are not recommended for street use.

ACT has one for street use. That's the one I will probably be getting.

hey dude, i know dyno'ing is expensive...but i think all of us would appreciate a dyno of the clutch and flywheel installation. no bother before since we already have MP3Bens dyno as a reference. ive seen some amazing stuff happen due to aftermarket clutches.

Should be getting the car back tomorrow. WIll definately have it by Fri or I will beat the mechanics!
