If you use a case I like my magnetic holder from techmatte on Amazon. You put a very thin price of metal between your phone and case. The holder slides onto the vent and the phone sticks to the holder
I got pro-clip for my kid's Volvo and they make it for the CX5... blocks some of the vent though (they have one for the A-pillar if you don't need power)
