JL Audio Cleansweep as an alternative to replacing the OE HU in their 5? I have been thinking about ways to improve the sound quality (not just volume) in mine and would like to retain the factory HU. The Cleansweep can be had for about $200 and then paired with component and co-axial speakers to suit your taste, as well as amplifiers. The advantage as I see it is that you are no longer relying on the HU for sound distribution or metering and the amp signal won't be hampered by the HU rather limited ability to deal with extra power. And its sleeper!! So what do you all think? Shall I be a trailblazer or am I just late to the party?(spank)
