Here is the link to the install kit on ebay.
I really wanted to get navigation when I bought the car, but when I saw that I could replace the stock stereo and get a complete system with DVD/MP3/NAV/Bluetooth/Backup Cam, etc, for the same price, I decided to hold off on the factory Navigation unit.

Kid Red said:While that's true, you'll take the hit when you go to trade in your 5 because anything aftermarket (not OEM) will hurt your resale value. That's why I got the NAV and will keep my HU stock (added speakers, amp and sub however).
Pathetic, yet ultimately, believeable. D'oh!mazdadude said:Edit: For what it's worth, and to satisfy my curiosity, I just went to Kelli Blue Book, and the difference in trade in value from a Mazda5 with Nav, to a Mazda5 w/o Nav is $575.
dommo_g said:That's not even a valid argument. Anyone truly worried about resale will keep all stock parts. And how much do you think the value is gonna be hit for a nice aftermarket stereo/nav? My guess...$0
And ALL nav units are software updateable, whether it's on HDD or DVD. It's just a matter of who the map data vendor is and how often they release updates.
