What the MP5 upgrades are.
I Am NOT taking full credit for the info listed, I pulled 99% of this info off of www.mazdas247.com and just thought it would be useful to be found all in one place so most people can refer to this as a guide. Perform at your own risk, but these mods have all been done and should work IF done properly.
VTCS delete on the top portion of the intake manifold (plug the hole with a bolt)
DO NOT delete the VICS (creates more torque for N/A setups) unless you turbo,
The VICS are in the middle and round, Do NOT get mixed up with the VTCS, pair with the MP3 ECU (140hp - 142tq) or Reflash the MP5 ECU to mirror MP3.
An aftermarket header, you will have to adjust the EGR valve and put on a non fouler for no codes.

-Mazda 626 header (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123793444-HOW-TO-Mazda-626-Headers-on-2.0-Protege)
-CAI, several choices out there depending on where you want it, and some you will just have to turn the coolant reservoir around.
-1.8l coil conversion with the 626 valve cover, coils, and spark plug wires,
Also you can use the v6 oil filter (2000 626).
WIX XP Oil Filter number: 51356
