Work Shop Manual

You honestly want the Haynes over the factory manuals?
Yeah, the Haynes have some tips and advice. I've been a carport mechanic for many years but still have an occasional brain fart and need to be showed how to do something. The manual from the protege ugly website just has pictures without much explanation. I have it too.

Incredible!
I never thought I could find it. You guys are great. I spent the whole nite searching for it. Now, I'm in business.

Thanks,
M.

Evil Edit: it has been brought to my attention that selling of "bootleg" manuals is illegal...enough info has been provided in this thread to get a free copy of the manual w/ is legal to download online....

Thanks
Samm, where can I download one?

even downloading the manuals are illegal

I downloaded all the manual stuff as recommended and got the 2002 Protege5 Wiring Diagram SUPPLEMENT. Since it is only changes from another one, it is missing some sections (i.e. that didn't change) Anyone else have this problem & a solution?

huh? don't follow what you are saying/asking...
are you saying that the manuals are missing some files, if so, which ones?

Well, in the one I've got, It shows for example in the W schematic that windshield wiper wiring detail is in section D1. But the pages jump from C-d to E-7 - a bunch of missing pages. I'm thinking these pages were unchanged from another previous wiring chapter. But I don't have that older one.

hmm, you're right. the page numbers are consecutive too!
well, there is a block diagram on 09-19-4 of the main manual, but that looks to be all...

how does parts book work?

Some of the parts are easy to understand, if I see a bolt that is 18-401, then I look in the table and find the corresponding mazda part number.

What if the bolt is 90794-0835? A google search shows exactly one site that says they sell it. The number 90894-0835 is not a Mazda part number, and so the dealership doesn't understand it.

Thanks

the protege5ugly.net link doesn't work anymore..takes you to porn sites and says that the site is up for sale.

are there any other links cause I have to do my pads?
