White smoke

Is white smoke a sign of a bad head gasket or turbo or both? I didn't see any milky oil. I'll probably be draining the oil and radiator Wednesday for a better look.

Usually something to do with water, when is it happening and how often? Overheating? losing coolant? Leak down test is in order for sure, if it is the head gasket this would be a great time to swap heads because I know you bought that other head

it loses coolant from the reservoir sometimes. Its not overheating, and i'm not sure how often it does it. I know I have seen it not do it.

I would make sure that it isn't just condensation, I can't view any videos so I can't really tell what is going on. Just take it easy until you find out for sure because if there is water in the oil you are losing your protective qualilites from the oil and you could end up with bigger problems like a spun bearing

^^^^was thinking this because it is getting into the 30s down in GA now and you will produce some white smoke(actually condensation) until the car warms up to operating temp, but I still can't view the vid

Maybe it was chilly. Is there a clear plastic tank thst can stand the heat of coolant? Just as a temporary replacemrnt.

Have you checked your hoses and water return elbow for any signs of leakage. The factory overflow tank is more than adequate. Its not uncommon for the the coolant level in it to decrease. Just top it off to fill line as needed when needed. Most likely your smoke is simply condensation. Unless you've already put on that new cylinder head and it has coolant jacket issues.

That is nothing compaired to mine, But I have a 3" downpipe back catless exhaust. I have been told it is condensation since it goes away once the car is warm....... Pretty much I am subbing to see more responses :)
