What kind of problem is this?!

I had some work done on the MP3, timing belt replaced at 62,000M, new EGR valve, plugs, wires and the like by my usual mechanic.

After driving the car for a while, I started getting CELs popping up (I've never had that happen before and have owned the car since new). Sometimes the idle swings way down at a light and almost stalls. Other times the car is running along fine and then seems like it either is 1.) not getting fuel or 2.) spark cuts out. After doing this for a while (today it went on for over a minute and I pulled over) and it goes back to running fine. I think it is related somehow to voltage. But each time, the code came up "misfire" without pointing to a specific problem.

Thoughts? I'd really like to clear this up before the weekend so I feel safe going to the autox test & tune session!

Hey, it's Bob, the OG!

Did you scan the CEL light and see what it said? I would double check to make sure the wire's are on the plugs nice and tight.

Or, the belt might be off by a tooth...

Sorry this isn't before the weekend you wanted...
