What have you done to your Miata today?

Installed a Cobalt 3-point STB over the weekend. Vastly superior to the OE brace. The front end feels a lot tighter, less distraction on mid-turn bumps.

Weekend before that I installed an OE rear lip spoiler. Guess I haven't posted here lately!

I know I like my Cobalt brace. There was noticeably reduced cowl shake after I installed it. A lot of people over on M.net said it was useless, good thing I don't listen to other people's views much.

I parked it in my new house... First house mod is also pictured. ;)

Stutter reared its head again yesterday, upon checking found coolant in cylinder 4 again. There goes my planned weekend of Miata fun. Pulling it apart tomorrow to see what it is this time.

Looks good Bruce!

Got the head pulled, there is absolutely nothing apparently wrong that would have caused the coolant leak. I'm taking it to the shop that milled it tomorrow to have them check it out.

well i was a dummy and goofed when backing out of my driveway today. was dropping my roof and backing up and my roommates car was parked further onto the driveway than usual and kaboom. not a huge deal. im doing body work this winter anyway and will likely be respraying the whole car

Bummer!

Autocrossed mine. Realized that my RT-615k's that are on my 17" wheels are in fact very dead and provided some entertaining sideways action coupled with curious MS3-like understeer. Took several runs, but it finally clicked and I got a decent time.

Turns out there was too much clearance on the head in way of the exhaust side of #4 cylinder. Shop is milling it for me and adjust the valve lash properly. I wouldn't have thought the slight amount of leverage the wiring harness gave when I torqued the head with it trapped would have caused this, but there has been no overheating so nothing else could have done it.

Looked like a lot of fun. I wonder how many people had trouble with the 360?

I LOL at where you put your time slips. I always throw mine in the glovebox.

For the most part, people dealt with the 360 pretty well, only 1 guy drifted it once. A lot of them got lost on corner 3 for some reason...

And its easy to ready the notes that way :)

I did a small drift around it once. So much slower than understeering it like I normally did.

changed a bulb. drove for a little bit then I had to get back to work.

Likewise! Now that it's on, I'd never take it off!
