my first car was a turd brown 1977 GMC Sierra. haha. 3 on the tree. 
the first car i bought when i was 18 was a 1993 Jeep Cherokee. My dad has it now and takes it fishing/camping.
then i got a brand new Scion tC on my 19th birthday (i made the payments).
got the MS3 march, 2007. traded in the tC and lost $500. not bad.

1974 Monte Carlo 350- Added: 3.42 gears, Edelbrock Performer Intake, recalibrated(by me)Q-Jet carb, Crane Hi-Torque Cam, Blackjack headers, CBQ Turbo Mufflers, Mallory Unilite/MSD-5A ignition, B&M Transpak Shift kit, Monroe Gas Magnum shocks, 15X7 Cragar SS wheels, Michelin X tires. At full throttle the sled would chirp the tires on the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts.
When i was 16 i had a couple cars, 1st was an 85 Chevy Celebrity Coupe.... 2.8, 2bbl carb, 3spd auto... My neighbor GAVE it to me... I got the car with 307,040 miles... the tranny went @ 307,042... Fail.
Then I got my 94 Escort LX , which led me into my GT, which led me to fall in love with mazda, and now im hooked!

Right after I turned 16, my father and I swapped a Buick V6 backed by a Turbo 350 into the family's 1974 Vega.
It became my car after I got my license, in the spring of my senior year of high school. My father wouldn't let me get my license until I had a year's insurance money up front in cash, so all of my friends were driving before me. One of the countless good lessons he taught me.

This thread is good fun! the first car i steered, could not reach the pedals was a brand new Datsun 510 of my Dad's. First car was given to me to "borrow kinda permanently" was a Volvo 244. First car i bought was a 1972 Dart swinger with a 318. These were in mid to late seventies. Those were the days. lots in between The speed is one of my favorites for sure.
Oh my i lol onto the floor. We had the same car at the same time as the Datsun. it was blue and it really went when dad drove it

When i was 16 i got a Protege 5. I loved the car but hated how slow i was. At 18 i got a full time job in I.T. and bought myself my speed 6. 2 years later i got laid off and now i'm looking for a job to keep making payments
