the only station i get that comes in less than before is an independent station that airs democracy now. but the station's signal was pretty weak before, so i can't tell you EXACTLY how much you lose.

the reason why you won't lose much reception is because an antenna's reception abilities come from its ferromagnetic core. when you cut the stock antenna, the ferromagnetic core (or copper strip) inside the antenna is only shortened, not eliminated.

Yes exactly like that. My valve cover is gloss black. But I only have a polished AEM intake with black couplings. I really want the black Injen.
