Upgraded from a Mazda 3...

Out with the old... (2006 Mazda 3s GT w/ Bose, 73,000 miles, 5sp... traded for $9000)

In with the new... (2006 Mazdaspeed 6 GT, 31,700 miles, 6sp... $18,000)

I tried talking them down from $18,000 but they didn't wanna play ball. Gave me $9000 for my car though... Probably couldn't get $7000 privately

Now I just need to learn how do drive it. Stalled it several times today... still can't get hills right. the clutch on the 3 was a great starter clutch but it was like butter

You can check out the clutch adjustment in the How-To section. There's also a TSB out there that smooths out the clutch, too.

I've never done either, myself; I've gotten used to the clutch over the last eighteen months. At this point, if I did change anything, I'd probably stall out all the time, too.

It took me a couple days to get used to the sharp take up. for the first day I had mine I dreaded stop lights. But since then I take my time and just focus on being smoother...and not caring about holding up the people behind me.
