Take a Hard Turn or Bump and Air Bag light comes on!

When I take a hard turn or a bump in the road my AirBag Light turns on the dash.....Wont go away till I turn off the car and turn back on,

Anyone else have this issue???

Any fixes for this?

Have you checked the Mazda3 forum for TSBs or recalls? http://**********************/forumdisplay.php?f=98

Are you the original owner? Has it ever been in an accident? Airbags are great when they go off when they should, and pretty much spoil your fun when they go off when they shouldn't, or fail to deploy when needed, so I'd be inclined to get it checked out soon--heck, for a safety issue, you might even get dealer goodwill if it isn't still under warranty (guessing not, being an '09). It might be a little late with responding but i had the same issue with the air bag light coming on and off...turns out the passenger side plug was a bit loose... repluged them it back in and it was good to go after.
