Mazda to develop a new rotary engine SKYACTIV-R

Wondering of Mazda is targeting this for their RX9 since (according to the report) they need at least 2 years before submitting SKYACTIV-R in one of their new models.

Mazda has been developing the 16X for at least the last 8 years. If they develop any other rotary it would likely be a small single rotor for use with a hybrid powertrain.
