Side Sills with 17" tires question (2024 Mazda3)

Just bought a 2024 M3 Premium Plus. I'm waiting for side sills to be installed. I also bought 17" snow tires. Anyone know if going down a tire size (18" -> 17") is going to present a problem for side sills?

Yes 17" rim with Bridgestone Blizzaks. Dealer got back to me yesterday and indicated it should be fine. Thanks

Good deal, what are the ratio numbers for the tire (2xx/xx/17...)? I am considering this myself and want to get a bit more sidewall since the mountain roads I find myself in are often pretty bad ;-)
