So after searching for fog lights for my p5 and not finding anything I went with some cheap driving lights. The only thing is when I turn my brights on they go off. I'm just curious if mazda did this for a reason (because of the purpose of fog lights and not needing them if the brights are on or if it is because of the number of lights). I have the headlights with separate low and high beams.
So I did some math. The aux lights 55w each, hi beams 60w each, and low beams 55w each. So total I would be running 340 watts or just over 28 amps.
Is that safe? With stereo heater, ac, rear defroster... and others will that overload the alternator?
