I ordered and just received a set of Rola racks. http://www.etrailer.com/p-59831.html
In looking at them, it looks possible to mount them without using the big rubber feet they come with. I think I can grind off the tabs on the plastic mounts and let them sit right on top of the black rain gutter trim. Has anybody tried this? I think it would be a very sleek and low profile look.
