Remote Starter Issue

I have the 2008 CX-7 GT With Tech Package and Remote Starter and Keyless entry and start.

The problem I have is that when I remote start my CX-7 all the doors lock automatically, I am unable to use the keyless entry fob to unlock the doors and also the small black button on the door handle does not unlock the car.

The only way I can unlock the doors is by turning the engine off with the remote starter and unlocking the doors which kind of defeats the object of the remote starter, yes the car is warm enough for me to get it but I have to restart it again,

I was just wondering if there is a way to unlock the doors while the engine is running once I have used the remote starter.

While the engine is running (started with the remote starter) to open the doors you have to press quickly two times the button on the remote starter fob .
