Rear Deck Removal

how do you remove the rear deck panel in a protege sedan?

so far i've gotten the brake light out, and i popped out two of those pop cap clip things that were on the plastic behind the seats.

If there is anything to do besides grab on to the edge and pull it up, let me know.

nope thats about it. make sure you pop out all the plastic things behind the seat. then just pull up and out

thanks, i got it off.

i hate those plastic pop off pin things, the ones in the trunk are really hard to get off, i've broken about 3 of them in the last 10 minutes

yeha.. I broke some of mine. I dont even worry about those things. you can always get more at the dealer or maybe even a body shop.

yeah, last time i was at lowe's, in the screw section they had a drawer of automotive connectors that had pins like that for different cars in it, however i didn't check for mazda pins. I bet they have some that would work though.
