quit my job??

I need some advise...I work at guitar center in burbank...I make no money...minimum wage...i drive an hour to work every damn day, and I rent an appartment and have bills to pay..I have dipped into my savings to pay my bills....its a fun job, but i am putting tons of miles on my car and naot making any money I am just about fed up...as of right now the plan is to call in tomorrow and tell then i quit...any comments??? suggestions??? support??? (strike)

how the hell are you gonna pay bills then? i worked at a stupid ass call center for two years while i finished school and payed for my apt/bills. your gonna have to do s*** you dont wanna do for a while, but it turns out good if you stick it out a while. now i work at a hospital as a pc technician and i make a decent amount. unless you have a new job lined up, its not worth it. i went 3 months without a job once and it really sucked. i suggest getting a job lined up, give your two weeks, and then quit.

I guess whats really pissing me off is that they are making me work 75 hours in the next 5 days....not that would sound nice to some people....but i am a department manager who makes 5.50 an hour....Commisision is hard to make when your taking care of tother things...

this is why im just sticking it out at my job until i finish school. as miserable as it makes me, i have no other choice. finding a job that will pay me as much will be difficult.

1st being a manager at Fazolis (resturant)
2nd being a UPS worker! its pays me 9/hr and i work about 10-20 a week depending how i feel!
my 1st job i get around 40hrs a week and make 8/hr!
with the 2 jobs u say i would make a decent amount! in terms i do but i dont cz bills have to be paid!
i live at home and lucky i do s*** around the house to were i dont have to pay rent!
i was married for 14 months! was really tight on bills, now living at home bills are almost payed off and now parents want me to move out with my bro and his friend!

for u partner, i always tell all to find another job and have it set into stone that u will be working there before u quit the other job!
also take the place that pays u 5.50 an hr cz thatss bs min wage is almost 7 bucks! to the labor board!

i just recently got a 2nd job at costco and am making 10/hour. unfortunately i am out pushing carts all day all in all not a bad job

one of my co workers from czech republic at biotech works 40hrs a day (9 hrs including lunch time) and after, works as a divery man at pizza hut till the day ends plus weekends. he has to support his wife and 2 yr old daughter and is also going to a community college...what a man

but back on track here, you should look for another job before you quit. this way, you will not be worse in terms finacially

oh, i make $10/hr, 40 hrs a week, summer only though

I don't mean to brag, but I had to mention my job. I do cad and website work for Louisiana State University. I have no set schedule, get paid 9/hr and when I'm waiting for files, I just play zelda. But I did have some bad jobs like working at Subway and working at Compusa. But no matter how much a job sucks and how little it pays, low wages are better than no wages.

i went form making $9 hourly as a pc technician INTERN to $16 hourly as a IT Services Specialist with some benefits in not even one years time. being patient usually turns out good. just stick it out man! its well worth it in the end.
