Protege5 w/ Imprezza WRX turbo???

A friend told me a WRX Imprezza turbo would bolt straight up to a Protege5. Anyone know anything about this?

Bolt up to what? You'll need a lot of other parts beside just the turbo. Exhaust manifold and intercooler to mention two biggies, but a lot more on top of that!

How about, computer, harness, intercooler goes on top of the motor so that's out, it is a boxer motor where ours if an inline.

Too costly to even think of going that route.

Mike, I think this chap was just talking about the turbine itself I believe, and it's not relative to the type of block. A turbine is a turbine. They come in different shapes and sizes but as long as you have a manifold and all the other junk than they all work fine.

sorry I wasnt more specific, but he told me that the system would fit on. Just curious, and felt it needed attention
