How did you mount these? where did you get them from? I have a set but it looks like there is no place to mount them.

I sell them. Mounted them under the door panel. You gotta drill a hole for them. Unfortunately I totaled my CX-7 a few weeks ago. Got a caddy SRX now and already started hooking it up[emoji16]

how are they better?

Because they articulate in two positions vs 1. So when the car is lowered, the ball and stud can sit more vertical vs at an angle. Especially when you are turning, and going over bumps, the hub is less subject to movement caused directly by the spring/Lower control arm movement ( even on a oem height car).

Imagine if the ball stud at the end of that arm was one piece; it would be under a lot of tension, because it would not be able to bend to sit at the same position as pictured, or it would be at Mac deflection always, so under load, it would have no platly. This causes extra wear, and feedback in the steering.

good to know, I thought it (stock) was a ball joint type end and moved in any direction

it is, however the range of movement is much less and it doesn't handle the lower angle as well.

Nice thread. Can't wait to get mine too. Has anyone turned the non-automatic powered windows to full auto on all 4? The one I'll be getting has only auto on the driver's side.

Mine came with 4 auto and illuminated switches. Never had it on any car before.

Really? Post a pic if you would, I would like to see it. I wonder if it's just the switch or if motors need to be replaced in the doors. Maybe the Mazda6 switch would fit
