I was replacing my fender and when I pulled my headlight a black plastic gizmo fell off and another similar one fell off while trying to reinstall the fascia. Where does it go?

Sweet: BN5V50CS0A So that's the 2nd and 3rd plastic piece I broke removing the damn fender. Now to fork out $25 and wait!

So the piece broke into two pieces? I'm looking at your pic more carefully. It looks like the headlight support bracket to me. Can you verify that the piece is missing is indeed that part? I hate for you to order something and it not be it :/

Yep, both of those posts broke off the piece that is bolted down to the bumper. I just confirmed it. When I looked at the pieces that came off, they actually did look broken at the edge (where it would attach to the plate), and the plate itself also looked broken and the pieces fit in there.

The other piece that broke off was one of the long finger things extending out of the grille (the upper one). I glue it back and hope it works.

Mine were broken too. But only one on each side if I recall. I just left them. Thanks for posting the part number!
Figured you guys might like this. I had my bumper off last night, and came up with a solution to the broken parts. It was attributing to my bumper sag because both on one side were broken. so I wanted to fix it. It's an old vtcs/vics solenoid, haha.

I'm honestly going to do this because I snapped all of my headlight support brackets taking my bumper off the first time, during my build.

I am trying to put everything back together. I just plunked out the $25 for a new plastic bracket.

It looks like the cover is slightly askew. The gap between the bottom of the headlight and the bumper cover is about the same on the left and right side, but the gap is significantly larger when you move toward the edge. There's that little rectangular hole that extends in from the cover near the center of the pic, it looks like its supposed to either hook onto something or a screw/rivet is supposed to go through it, but I don't see anything its supposed to actually attach to. I'm just wondering if I'm missing some sort of fastener somewhere.

There is a bracket that goes on the outer edge of each headlight, and it's held on by a couple of bolts. It's easily broken if you yank the bumper off. Been there done that. I ordered new ones for both headlights and have gotten better at taking the bumper off now without breaking them. I use a small flathead screwdriver to depress the part of the bracket that the bumper hole you're describing hooks onto. Once you depress that little notch, the bumper comes off easier.

To get the front edge a little higher, loosen the two bolts under the car that hold the bumper on. Then re-tighten them while lifting up/pulling out on the bottom of the bumper.
