I've read the sticky on rim and tire fitment, understand it just fine...but had anyone tried to find a decent rim lately with the proper offset?? I've found the perfect rim for what I'm looking for, but it only comes in a 17x7 +40...

Does anyone know if you can custom order the proper offset from konig? or if there's something I can do like put a 1/4" (6mm) wheel spacer in there or something? I really want these wheels!

I'm a noob when it comes to offset...sorry and thanks in advance

spacers will only decrease the offset. unfortunately, you're best bet is to look for a better fitting rim.

yeah, companies like Konig will only do custom offsets if you order bulk, if even then.... talk to Rishie (autornd) he may have some custom offsets for the protege 5-lugs lying around... Rotas probably, not Konigs...

Looking for wheels? Here is what I do:
lurk Hondamarketplace.com
try passwordjdm.com
try jhpusa.com
try jlbmotorsports.com

You might find something good, as Type Rs and RSX have the same bolt pattern and close to our offsets.

What exactly is it that the wheels are rubbing on with a smaller offset? is it the suspension or the fender? And is that only on lowered cars?

They would rub on the fenders.
I did a 35 with no rubbing + stock ride height then again im 4 lug
