Japanese tuning house Wald International has a wide range of styling and performance kits for nearly every major luxury car brand on the market, but this time the company has focused its attention on a humble Nissan, albeit one of the fastest Nissans ever produced. The car is the all-new Nissan GT-R, a vehicle whose lines and shape were dictated almost exclusively by the drive for optimal aerodynamics.

Improving on the original design would be a tough task for any tuner, and not surprisingly most of the aftermarket kits weve seen thus far, such as the Zele and Arios, appear almost completely stock. Walds new kit sets out to change all this by including a full bodykit, new wheels, and plenty of carbon-fiber accessories.

Wald has given the GT-R a new look through a custom carbon-fiber front lip spoiler, a custom nose cover, a carbon-fiber engine cover, a new rear wing, 22in multi-spoke wheels, and some low-drag duct covers also made out of lightweight composite.

A custom exhaust system offers a high-performance sound, though thats the extent of the driveline modifications. Wald is still working on the final design for the kit and driveline upgrades, and is expected to release more details closer to its launch at the end of the year.

I think its hot...I like how the foglamps change the look of the front of the car. I do not know why Nissan did not fit the GT-R from the factory with foglamps.

The rims are ok but I think a either a set of BBSs or HREs would be a lot hawter!!

meh not really feeling it, I think they could have done better... I mean c'mon it's the GTR, if your gonna try and improve the aesthetics of an already sexy car, then step it up...

I think if they did more it would have been way too much.....

Like the other two said, change the rims and it's close to perfect.
