interesting.

looks like even lance rides a full suspension bike when he's not on the road

put on the stock black shocks with the mazdaspeed springs on the miata last night. looks good! rides much nicer. response still decently sharp. waiting for an alignment... running no rear bar still, going to see whether i need to put in the stock bar or the rx-8 bar.

I would say at least the stock bar. Must be understeeing??

I know of a few NA owners that auto-x that use no rear bar because it's a little more predictable in higher speed turns.

We should put together a MTB meet. I've been looking for people to ride with around Boston. I used to ride a ton when I lived out in the Berkshires but haven't been riding at all since I moved to Boston.

The shop does a few MTB rides during the week. You should get in touch with Bill, he'll take you on some good rides up on the northshore.

^^^lol

Ok, so after my trip to the dealer yesterday I've come to the conclusion that it's time to bite the bullet and buy a torque wrench. I'm looking at two Craftsman and thinking the 44595 would be better since it's longer and a 1/2 drive....thoughts/opinions?

1/2" drive ftw.

Damn straight it's hot as hell with lovely humidity. Just finished glazing the car. Will put a second coat on tmw after it cures overnight.

I'm trying to get out of here early so I can wash the miata and re-wax her today. I'll be busy all day and night tomorrow due to being on call. Grrrrrr...

Scrambling to put my car back together (hopefully with enough time to wash/wax it), get everything I need for the weekend and then pack it all...all without passing out from the heat.
