hey, so i currently have the Mazdaspeed sport exhaust, which obviously isn't much at all, so now i want to upgrade this to a new catback system. I was looking at the Protegegarage site and was interested in the Thermal Research & Development ($550), then i also noticed that i can get the HKS Hi-Power catback for a much cheaper price at my local performance store ($320). What are your recommendations, i want to make the right choice, both look good but i'm more familiar w/ HKS than Thermal Research.

HKS: http://www.hksusa.com/images/?id=2828

Thermal Research: http://mazda3online.web.aplus.net/product_info.php?cPath=21_31_47&products_id=400

any other ones you would recommend i would greatly appreciate.

that actually sounds like a better idea, hook it up w/ a link ;p i wanna see how much less it'll cost to just buy the resonator mid-pipe combo.

It'll be a lot less!
I'm still in the process of working out the final pricing. GB should start within the next week to ten days.

OH, and my bad, I meant resonator/s-pipe combo. I fixed my post. But those would be the two pieces.

RB all the way! nice sound, quality built...i've had mine on for 4 yrs now, sounds and looks great!

Hey man,i used to own a p5 and a protege ES, one of my buddies in tech school did some research for me ,brought me some dyno sheets and the racing beat exhaust seemed to be the best bang for the buck,at the time i was looking at the skunk2 catback which is a preety good upgrade aswell but the racing beat put out better numbers!

that's a hot review, definitely buying the RB Catback, now i really need a job, and hoping for my ebay auction to sell.
