2014 Mazda 2 Sport...I was pulling off dash parts to get the radio out to check it out...at the very front/botttom of the shifter assembley, there was a black wiring sheath with the end wrapped in electrical tape- I took the tape off, and found two small black wires- appear to be grounds? - this was next to a green wire sheath.
Any ideas? Does anyone have photos of the trim surround from the shifter removed that may show these wires?
