My Protege doesn't have air conditioning. Can I install it?

Can AC be installed on a Protege with no AC? If so how much would this cost?

I believe in the northern states you can get car with no AC. Not 100% sure on that.

yea all models should come with AC
unless sumone uninstalled it for sum odd reason?
and changed all the knobs and controls?

Nope, In Canada it was an option for the P5...

some people remove it with the power steering. you lose like 100lbs i think and get something like 10whp back? i forget the exact numbers but yea u get the idea

Mine's an LX 2.0 sedan, and the button were the A/C normally is is blank/black, and doesn't push in. I'm in Canada btw but it still gets hot in the summer!
