Time for an update!

79k on the clock. RPF1's and Star Specs are hibernating, 185/60 Michelin Sport A/S and stock wheels are back on.

Mods performed since last post:

A/C and P/S deleted
Racing Beat 4-1 header
Cobalt shortshifter
OEM black hardtop w/o headliner/defrost

Saving for FFS 190whp supercharger kit. Should be in by springtime.

I love having an empty engine bay. Now I just need to start tucking wires.

yeah MP62 coldside. Don't want turbo and hotside s/c's won't fit with the 4-1 header. And yeah man, that carbon hardtop looked like ass on my car. It's in my living room, been trying to sell it for the past month. No dice yet. I picked this OEM top up north for $250. It was red, and in horrible faded peeling condition. Had Maaco paint it for $290 and it actually looks 90% perfect.

I've been LOOKING for a pic of a black NA with unpainted lip, because I wasn't sure if I wanted to paint my R-package lip before I install it. I don't think I will now. It looks amazing unpainted. Though it might look better painted. Man I'm indecisive. Sexy-ass car though man. I try so hard to keep mine looking as good as southern/Cali cars but it's so tough...your shine is fantastic. Damn the north and snow/salt.

I got something very special coming by fedex in a few days, I'm so excited but I'm just going to wait until I install it before I tell everyone lol.

I don't like the lip painted, on any color with r lip or gv lip, for two reasons, unpainted u can hit it and not worry about cracking or scratching the paint and two I think it looks better. Plus, with black, people think it is painted but its not. double win. lol

I really like the lowered look of this great car! Did you install the dual exhaust and intake air management system?If so, what if any improvements did you get from either or both?

Thanks! The exhaust and intake came with the car, installed by the previous owner so I don't have a before-and-after butt dyno, but if I had to guess, probably 8-10hp gain.

changed out the crappy aluminum radiator cooling plate for a black one by Track Dog Racing, and wired up my Kenwood X-595

how she's doing:

I bought a Koyo 37mm and black Samco 2pc upper/lower rad hoses, waiting on Spal fan kit. Taking RPF1's to powder shop this week for lime green metallic. They'll be a few shades lighter than the grabber-ish green on the stock daisies.
