Sorry it's taken me so long to answer this, but I was on vacation. It illuminates simple white. I had it wired into my dimmer which made it nice since it adjusted with the rest of my interior/gauge lights.

Did the copper heatsink fix this problem or do you recommend fitting the innovate heatsink (HBX-1). Aswell, if someone is interested in the LC-1 + data cable, I would be interested in the copper heat sink and gauge only Thanks
