Well, I've been running STU with the Cobb SRI, just recently got a Forge BPV. I have a bad feeling this is gonna kick me out of STU. I'm thinking DSP but I'm not for sure. Can anyone confirm?

From what I understand the MS3 is the most competitive in D stock. I honestly couldn't tell you first hand where my region is so small.

I'm in DSP and I'm the most competative when I'm the only one there... If the other DSP cars show up, I'm done...

DSP is owned by the BMWs with R-compounds... (lol2)
Its a little frustrating cause I know I've got more than enough power...I just don't have the handling and tires!!! (bang)

And yes, DS is owned by the MS3.

I hear ya. I'd like to get some R-comps one day now that I'm bumped out of STU because of that bpv.

I've been drooling over race tires ever since I started autocrossing 5-6 years ago...but the requirement of a trailor and then having to swap tires at the track is a PITA with Florida heat, no way!!!! Plus, r-comps for our cars are almost $300 a pop; $250-$280 or something!!!

Yea the prices are out of control. I'd probly go with some used ones myself, seen some pretty good deals with a good bit of tread life left on them. Luckily I live close enough to my local regions venue that I would probably just drive on the stickies to the event and back.

You don't need a trailer, really. I ran R-comps with an Escort, a B15 Sentra, and an EP3 Civic hatch and they could all handle an extra set of tires without a trailer. Especially with the hatch and the back seat down, it wouldn't be a problem in the MS3.

As for swapping tires - amen, brother! That's why I'm back on street tires this year. (2thumbs)

I've put 4 wheels/tires in the hatch before and they fit fine...actaully they fit with the seats up!!! But then I wouldn't have any room for my canopy, chairs, cooler, and misc items...

I'll be on street tires forever... (lol2)
